After the raising number of accidents happening around the city , the government has passed the Motor Vehicle Amendment Bill which was filed back in 2016. It is effective from (03-04-2017) Monday. 1) Not Giving Way To Ambulance
This would end up with you paying Rs.10,000. Respect ambulances and give way to them. Someday , you might be in the same position.
2) Violating Licence Terms
Violating the terms which are given in the driving licence could end up with you paying a penalty varying from Rs.25,000 to Rs.1,00,000.
3) Over Loaded Vehicles
Driving over loaded vehicles if caught would end up with you paying Rs.2,000 as fine.
4) Offensive By Juveniles
You should be careful if you are a father and letting your under age child drive a vehicle.
You maybe jailed for three years or end up paying a penalty of Rs.25,000. The child would be treated under the Juvenile Justice Act.
