Jio is all set to roll out it's Prime Membership starting from tomorrow. This is the first time since launch that Jio would be charging it's customers, so mixed reactions would await tomorrow.
The Prime Membership is an extension of Jio's Happy New Year plan, by which users should pay an one time payment of 99 Rupees, followed by a monthly payment of 303 Rupees, through which they'd be able to access Jio's Internet at 1 GB/Day or rounded off to 30 GB/month. They would also be subscribed to free calling and messages all through the month.
The 149 plan would enable the subscribers to avail free unlimited calls while restricting the messages and internet used. Users would be able to use only 2GB of internet per month and send 100 messages daily.
The 499 plan would double the 303 plan's internet usage limit to 60 GB/ month. This is for users who think the 30 GB limit is too low for them. The 499 plan would set the FUP to about 2 GB per day.
Apart from this Jio has announced plans for non Prime members too. They are as given below,
Rs 999 per month – Unlimited calling + 60 GB data!
Rs 1999 per month – Unlimited calling + 125 GB data!
Rs 4999 per month – Unlimited calling + 350 GB data!
Rs 9999 per month – Unlimited calling + 750 GB data!
