After Delhi, Fake Notes Spotted In Another ATM.

On the second incident happening in the past one month, one more ATM too decided to haunt SBI. An ATM in Uttar Pradesh reportedly had fake notes dispensing out of it.

Puneet Gupta, a resident of Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, withdrew Rs. 10,000 from the ATM. Of the five Rs. 2,000 notes that were dispensed, one turned out to be a scanned copy of the new currency, he says.

Immediately, Mr. Gupta and the other people standing for withdrawing cash complained to the bank stating this. A huge ruckus then followed after which Police personnel were called to pacify the citizen.

A complaint has been filed in the nearby Police Station stating the same. Also, Mr. Gupta has filed another complaint against the SBI as well for dispensing fake notes via their ATM. He also said that even the bank was involved in the conspiracy. The man who had last filled the ATM was arrested after the case was filed.

Few days before, a similar incident happened in Delhi, where the notes were too fake to be true. It had a mark which stated that the note had been issued by the "Children Bank of India". On the fake notes, in place of the official mark, a little box said "Churan Lable (label)". The Reserve Bank of India was the "Entertainment Bank of India" and the note promised two thousand "coupens" instead of rupees to the "barer". Central government became bachchon ki sarkar (children's government). The notes also had "PK" on them in place of the RBI stamp.
