As a part of an announcement made by Mukash Ambani, Reliance Jio has announced the public that people would be able to avail their services at Rs.10 per GB. To avail this, people would have to subscribe to the Jio Prime membership, which has an one time cost of Rs.99. Under this, people would be able to get Jio plans and services at a reduced rate, and also use Jio's media services free till the March of next year.
People if interested could subscribe to this by visiting the nearest Reliance Digital or through the MyJio app. Ambani also described Prime offer benefits as "unlimited mazaa continue hoyinga", quoting from a popular Mumbai phrase. Jio Prime offer will come at an introductory price of Rs.303 per month, effectively just Rs.10 per day.
Jio will double its data capacity in the coming months which will help it expand its network reach, said Mr Ambani. "And we are making our network better, faster and stronger with each passing day. In the coming months, we will more than double our data capacity and this means even better quality for our customers," he said, adding that by end-2017, Jio network will be present in nearly all the cities, towns and villages of India, covering 99 per cent of population.
