Congress president Sonia Gandhi was hospitalized on Tuesday following a viral infection.
this was made official by congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala .
“The Congress president has been admitted to a hospital following viral fever. She will be discharged within two days. She will resume her Parliament duty soon. There is no cause for worry,” Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said.
This is the second time in three months that the Congress chief has been admitted to hospital. The doctor Have Advised Ms.Gandhi to be under medical supervision.
On August 3, Sonia was admitted to the same hospital with fever. She had to quit the road show mid way due to being ill. She also underwent surgery on her left shoulder.
Ms.Gandhi who is 69 year old will also Undergo few tests at sir gangaram hospital,as stated by the hospital.
