Can't deny how cute our Gods look while taking a Selfie !!
The craze
for taking selfies has become an obsession now among everyone. And we literally
take a selfie right from the time we get up and go back to bed at night.
Now imagine
our Gods doing the same thing in their daily lives! What if they owned a smart phone
and been smitten by the selfie fever just like us? That’s exactly what Selfie Gods, a Tumblr blog run
by Adrita Das shows us. She's 24, a
designer working in Pune, and graduate of visual communication from Bengaluru’s
Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in 2014.
She just had
to get the pictures of Gods and Goddesses, with appropriate hand gestures and
photoshop a phone or selfie stick in their hands. And results were amazing.

“This whole thing of depicting gods with pop
culture elements has always been controversial,” Das said. “Nobody has told me yet that this is
offensive, but I just hope that the humour negates any offensive thing.”
Personally
we feel her work is brilliant and has to be applauded for her creative thinking
and bringing that into reality pictures! This is not something we might see
every day but actually glad that we did get a chance to experience the
hilarious mix of art.
